Bashem Safaris East Africa is a tours and travel company that provides exceptional memorable safaris services to East Africans and the world at large With our office fully registered in Canada and member of Tourism industry association of Ontario. (TIAO). Our sustainability stems back in 2015 after the birth of our first Transport company called Bashem Transporters co. Ltd.
Our commitment is premised on looking beyond the horizon to anticipate change as we are passionate about shaping the next generation in tours and travel in Africa hence becoming a top-notch of tours and travel company in East Africa with the purpose of touching lives in different communities, Tourists and individuals in the region, enabling our clients to have exceptional memories This company was founded by Emmanuel Bashiti a businessman, entrepreneur and its managing director who was born on 4th February 1988 in Nyarusiza Kisoro district Uganda that is based between two borders Rwanda and Democratic Republic of Congo. He says that his family was poor and extended. His exposure around the Bwindi forests and mgahinga made him get attached to loving animal life and the pygyms that were living in that area. so with time he got connected and it became part and parcel of his life to an extent that even after leaving home for school he had to struggle to make his dream come to pass.in an attempt to achieve his dream through, .
There are pygmy communities in and around some of his areas of concern that live a hunter-gathered lifestyle and this at times makes it difficult in the implementation of activities . This company originated from his career he got in 2014 when he worked in two different companies as a low paid employee i.e. National Housing company as a porter and payment was shs 6000 per day and so from his savings he was able to purchase a driving permit and he got a job at Blu-Cruise transport and logistics company limited as a Steward .with only $300 and without a motor vehicle, office or pocket office in Kampala, he founded Bashem Transporters Co.Ltd and after Bashem Safaris East Africa.
What we Prioritize
- Making a difference in the pygmy communities around Bwindi and Mgahinga national parks forests by providing better sensitization programs on self-sustenance, and promoting healthy living
- Committing part of our earnings towards supporting the pygmies by working with NGOs to encourage pupils to go to school by providing them with free uniforms and scholastic materials
- Providing better professional and timely services to our customers.
