6 DAY ITINERARY: GORILLA AND PRIMATE ADVENTURE TOUR

Day 01:Entebbe - Kampala

Warm welcome on arrival and transfer to hotel/lodge (Bed and breakfast)

Distance & time (approx.): 8km (10min) to Entebbe town and 40km to Kampala (1hour)
Overnight: Hotel of choice in Entebbe or Kampala

Day 02: Kampala - Kibaale National Park

Drive westwards to Kibale Forest National Park. (Full board)

- Distance & time (approx.): 390 km (4-5 hrs.)
- Overnight: Kibale Forest Camp
- Activity: guided walks in the cave plus crater lakes
- Animals: some primates, chimpanzees, antelopes and a variety of birds

Day 03: Chimpanzee Tracking

Early morning chimpanzee tracking. Pm Bigodi swamp walk. (Full board)

- Overnight: Kibale Forest Camp
- Activity: Chimpanzee tracking & Bigodi swamp walk

Animals: chimpanzees, various primates, elephants, buffaloes, baboons, antelopes, some reptiles and a variety of birds plus a variety of trees & shrubs

Day 04: Drive To Bwindi NP

Transfer to Bwindi NP via the Ishasha sector for the tree-climbing lions. (Full board)

Distance & time (approx.): 550km (7-9 hrs.)
Overnight: Kitandara Luxury Tented Camp (Buhoma) or Gorilla Safari Lodge (standard)
Activity: Game drive in Ishasha sector, Queen Elizabeth NP
Animals: some primates, lions, spotted hyenas, leopards, elephants, Topis, buffaloes, kobs, baboons, antelopes, some reptiles and a variety of birds

Day 05 : Gorilla Tracking - Rushaga

Mountain Gorilla tracking in the Impenetrable Forest of Bwindi NP.(Full board)

Distance & time (approx.): varies with the location of the mountain gorillas
Overnight: Kitandara Luxury Tented Camp (Buhoma) or Gorilla Safari Lodge (standard)
Activity: Mountain Gorilla tracking
Animals: Gorillas, some primates, baboons, some mammals, some reptiles and a variety of birds plus different tree species

Day 06 : Back To Kampala

Drive back to Entebbe. Flight back home (Half board)

Distance & time (approx.):440 km (7-8 hrs)
Overnight: Nil
Activity: Shopping
